Battery floor cleaners and electric mops for household floors

A cordless floor cleaner mops hard floors with rotating rollers and collects the dirty water in a separate tank, with no cable and no bucket. It belongs to the cordless vacuums, floor cleaners and blowers and suits offices, practice rooms, small shops and homes.

The range runs from the compact FC 2 and FC 3 units to the FC 4, FC 5 and FC 7. The higher the number, the larger the area per charge and the more functions the unit offers. Look at the battery voltage, from 4V to 7.2V depending on the model, and at the run time. Sets with one or two 2.5 Ah batteries and a charger let you keep working while the second battery charges.

Next to the FC series, the EWM 2 is a compact electric mop from the same family. Before buying, check that the cleaning agents and rollers of the chosen model suit your floor type. All units come from Kärcher Home&Garden. Sweep or vacuum loose dirt first, so the rollers pick up the film on the floor instead of grit that wears them.
